This initiative was spawned due to the need of G2 users to compare top-level products based on company size and location, as well as for the benefit of G2 customers who want to show how their product stacks up against the competition.
The problem
As someone looking to research/purchase a software or service solution, I need an easy way to identify which products are ranked highly according to real users.
The solution
A 'highest rated' page that clearly ranks software and service providers. This page should give users the ability to quickly understand which solutions are rated the highest and why. It should also give them the opportunity to drill into relevant feature data and give them the ability to compare solutions.
User Flows & UX Research
Based on initial research for G2's core personas, the ideal flow for a user ended in successfully creating a comparison of products that met their specific criteria. The business goals included an increase in leads, sign ups, and contribution to ARR.
